Urban Rancho at the Lummis House

Seen at the Urban Rancho this morning at El Alisal in Highland Park, the former home of Charles Fletcher Lummis.      It's a bit of a hike from East Pas, but a fun day with lots to do and see and learn.   If you haven't been there, it really is an extraordinary place.  It's a garden oasis in the middle of the city.

The photo is courtesy of my favorite photographer.   This five day old lamb visited El Alisal as part of the day's festivities.    He's had a tough life so far -- trouble standing after birth, rejected by mom and now hand fed.    But, we're told he's doing fine now.

I think I need to give the kid the camera more often.
