How cute is she? How soon will she go out where the coyotes are?
Have you named them? I recall Rhode Island Reds as being aggressive. They used to chase me when I was a teenager hanging out at the local stable.
Palm: We have two Rhode Island Reds -- chatty cathy is one. We handle the birds every day and, of course, feed them. Hopefully that will win out over any agressive tendencies. anon: The birds will go outside after they lose their fuzz and get their feathers in; maybe 3-4 weeks. This time, though, we'll keep the door shut on the chicken run so the coyotes don't get them.
